RELATIONSHIP SALES MANAGER – WILLAMETTE VALLEY REGION
PRIMARY PURPOSE
The purpose of this full-time position is to develop new business, maintain accounts and develop growth in the assigned geographical sales territory. Professionally represent the performance, profits, service, sales, and marketing function for the products and services that Pacific Building Systems provides, especially Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB). The Relationship Sales Manager (RSM) is expected to achieve mutually established sales goals, profit goals, serve and grow existing accounts, develop new business by identifying new contacts inside of accounts served, as well as new account opportunities, qualifying leads, and documenting communication in the customer relationship management software.
RSM’s are involved in all phases of the sales and marketing process: Lead generation, lead management, content development for accounts and marketing efforts, pre-order, post order, service, and maintenance of the accounts. The RSM is responsible for working with the Region Sales Manager to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets at agreed-upon profit margins. This position requires skills to create wins for the team, the customer, and the company. Primarily responsible for building definition to include project specification and drawing interpretation, quote request form production, and Metal Building Software input. Work with the team and customer with correctly processing contracts, approval drawings, color charts, and other activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Resolves customer concerns by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Follow the company’s standards and guidelines regarding quality service.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- This job typically requires experience in territory sales development and maintenance, construction, engineering, or related field.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and a variety of software programs. Excellent communication and listening skills are required to work effectively with all staff and customers.
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees as well as customers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment and produce results in conjunction with fellow team members
